Running rough

My 2000 tundra just started running rough, I changed the spark plugs but same result. No check enginge light is on, could it be a fuel filter or fuel pump problem? Does this model have fuel injection? Any help I would appreciate.

I would change the gas filter if it has been a while.Also clean the map senser and throttle body. all things you can do yourself.the 4.7 is fuel injected.

this happens to my 2000 often get a toothbrush and some throttle body cleaner you can pick up at autozone or your fav. auto parts house. take the air intake hose ( the big black pipe from the air box that runs up to the intake on the top ) take it off and spray intake cleaner in the intake use a screw driver to open the butterfly, and spray inside real good next get toothbrush and scrub all around inside make sure to get the butterfly real good. then spray again and repeat until no more carbon come out. reattach hose and whola.

Injectors can cause rough idle also but expensive to service, cheaper to clean but big difference in the 2.!

haha...what can't be fixed around here by cleaning the throttle body and MAF. oddly enough though, my throttle body is still spotless. Guess I'm lucky.
