I found out that when I turn on the truck I don't have to hold the ignition in the on position until it turns on. Just turn it once and away you go. Found that out my first year of owning the truck, now I try to do that with all the cars I drive doesn't work though lol
I found out when my wife is not with me I can hear slight road noise! LMAO

I didn't read the sticker when I test drove it. Thought it was a V8 because of its power. Got home and looked it up on the internet and read the car fax supplied by dealer and realized it was a V6. I still bought it, because at the time it was a good price and is really all the power I needed.

If you have a 4.0 L then you've got a V8 - not a V6
I had a 2001 V6 and it was plenty of power for me while I had it, and I wish I still had it today - great truck.

Actually, the V6 had more horsepower. The V8 had slightly less horsepower, but more torque.

depends on what v6 your talking about Tundra had 2 v6 engines for first gen. The all new 2005 vvti 4.0 liter had a lot of power. When I tested the 2000 Tundra with its 3.4 liter it sucked and lacked power for the access cab no thank's .
I like that the lights can be left on and as soon as the driver door is open the lights turn off. Given the that the truck is turned off with the key out of the ignition. It's a pretty cool feature.

You are correct. I was referring to the 3.4L V6. Back when I was selling Toyotas in 2003/2004 this was true of the engines at the time. The 4Runner had the 4.0L V6 available but the Tundra V6 was only the 3.4L. And of course, the Tacoma had the 3.4L V6 as well.
+1 on the lights and window thing, pretty cool feature.
Oh the neat seat rock in the 2005 AC This feature while subtle, will keep scratching your head for hours. Yes I've read the sticky, just too lazy on that one to care.
