Default loose driver side mirror 01 Tundra

The glass part of my driver side mirror in my 01 Tundra is loose and jiggles, not the mount, just the glass mirror. The dealer said I have to buy a complete mirror assembly, thank-you-very-much. Does anyone have a way to stop the loose mirror from jiggling?
Thank you and Happy New Years!

You probably have a bad cable if it is a powered mirror. You may need to replace. You should be able to pick one up at a recycle parts place or ebay. Replacement should be pretty straight forward. You may want to check the classifieds here too since some members swap theirs out for towing mirrors.

I have the same vibration but it's fairly minor (just the glass is a little loose- mirror mounts tight to body and at the folding joint). Has anyone repaired their existing mirror and what was done to fix it?
