Default RE: Billet Knobs

Ok, so first of all, I would like to formally apologize to everyone on this forum for dropping the ball on the knob project. No excuses to give- just got way too wrapped up in work.

As far as the shop goes that was making them, I got shut out. Military contracts that paid way more than I could took over, and he basically said sorry, can't do it right now.

I came across a prototype knob cleaning up the garage the other day, which reminded me about the forum. Signed on a couple weeks ago, to tell you the truth hadn't thought about it in a while.

I feel bad, because I'm a man of my word, and I was excited about this project. I'm trying to find someone to make them, but no one will take such a small order.

So again, I apologize for lettin you guys down. this is a great forum, and with all the interest in aftermarket parts, it can only grow.

Cody

completely understandable man...no worries...I remember reading through the thread when you first started it and thought it was a great idea so if you ever get the project started up again or think of something else to start up then let us know

heck if anyone doesn't understand, to bad.
we all have fallen on some type of problem.

if it happen's great ,if not, no big deal. i seen people asking for certain color's, and grip's, etc.
it gotten way to big.
i said that a long time ago.
since my son ran a machine in his shop. so i had 1st hand knowledge of what is involved. it isn't easy, to drop what the shop is doing, for you to take on your own project.

I have a company interested in doing this. Still trying to work out the details, so I do not want to provide any false hopes. They are a major vendor on other forums, and did all the billet in my last car.
