Default Side Swept Exhaust

1. What kind of performance gains/ losses can be realized if I were to eliminate the resonator, shorten the distance between the muffler and Y-Pipe, and run a dual outlet to the side before the tire instead of behind it? It would replicate the F150 Lighting exhaust looks wise. The reason I ask about shortening the distance of exhaust pipe is because I believe the muffler already sits pretty far back and I wouldnt want to bend the exhuast pipe back the other way towards the front of the truck.

2. Could it even be done?

I wish someone just made a tube only kit for behind the cat, and you can put your own muffler in where you want to, if you want to! LOL

do you get fumes in the cab? when i had my exhaust dumping right after the cat, i had fumes in the cab..i would be careful with having it dump after the resonators.

I can see that happening, since the cab has two big air vent on the back wall. I closed one off when I install my amp on the back wall.
