Well as most of you know, I got the golden ticket for a free bumper from Iron Bull. That thread is here.
This past weekend I finally got down to their fabrication shop and had the bumper installed by the guys who designed it. The process took a little longer than we were all expecting, but in the end, it looks very nice! Now all I need to do is get me some lights installed in it. I'll probably pass on the winch since you have to take the bumper off to install it.
I'm sure at least a few people are wondering how much this bumper actually weighs. Well, I'm not really sure. I did pick up one end of it while they were taking the factory bumper off, and it didn't seem massively heavy. I did take a measurement at the front wheel well before and after the install, and it dropped the front end down about 1/2 an inch.
If you look at these pics, and those of the 02 Tundra they have on their site, you'll see that the bumper has a slighly different design. It seems a bit wider at the bottom than the previous design. I personally like it better this way. Good thing I suppose since its on my truck!
