I have the Magnaflow 12258, which sounds great. Single in/dual out setup with 3 and half tips. I love the sound and it has no drone. I strongly suggest this etup for a better than stock sound that will not drive you crazy.

I have pretty much the same set up. 18" magnaflow with fake duals out the back. It's the best of both worlds for me. I get the dual sound with out the loss of low end. Check out the links in my sig for pics. The sound clip was when I still had the single set up.

I'm running 3" from the cat to the muffler (flowmaster 40 series) with dual 2.5" outs with turndowns. I also had the resonator removed. The truck did lose a little power however, it sounds amazing. The rumble is nice and low when driving lightly. But when I slam on the gas, cover your ears! The truck screams!

Hi,

I have a 2004 DC and one of the first modifications I did was to the exhaust. I had the stock muffler removed and installed an Aero Turbine, 2525 resonated model. At the same time I had the stock resonator cut out. The sound was awesome but removing the resonator was a mistake as it created unbelievable/unbearable in cab drone. We solved this by installing a glass pack in the location where the stock resonator had been. I wrote a thread about my experience Aero Turbine Exhaust

Just recently I had a split-y installed at the outlet of the Aero Turbine and dual pipes run over the axle to the corners of the rear bumper. I have to say that I think I have finally achieved what I set out to do with my exhaust. The sound is just great. The glass pack took care of the drone and gave the system a nice rumble. The fake duallies (foolies) really augment the sound quality while making it look very cool. I love the sound. I am 40 years old and gun it every chance I get just so I can hear it. My cheeks hurt from grinning and I feel like I am 17 again.

I do not care if it is a mid-life crises - my exhaust still rocks.

19+ MPG on the Highway at 75 MPH in a DC with a four speed automatic and a bad O2 sensor - not too shabby!

Has anyone had issues with a high flow CAT throwing off O2 sensor readings? I researched but couldn't find anything. Just a thought.

JBA headers feeding a bone stock, single exhaust. It's an excellent combination
