Did you guys put on a Tip? If so witch one? I looked up magnaflows ex Tips and man o man some of them are more than the muffler LOL
Thanks again,
Eric
Yeah i have the magnaflow tip, i got lucky the guy at the muffler shop had one that someone did not want, so i got it for $20. That one that your looking at is the same exact one my brother has. Try to stay away from the rolled tips, unless the roll is smooth inside so the exhaust does not make a whistling sound. I had a tip before that did this and the tip itself was to small, it sound like crap.
Aw you guys the muffler looks good but the rear leafs are made in mexico. I made the comment because the text was prominate in the picture that dereck24 posted of his muffler.

Aw, Don't use those big words LOL J/K
But, yeah anyway his frame is nice for a 2000 tundra.
Bump.
I too, need my truck to sound like this. Could you explain the exact details so someone with no experience whatsoever dealing with exhausts can understand? Well, mostly like the model number or whatever of the muffler. And maybe a few details about how much difference the tip makes.
I can't say what the tip does for sound, but the muffler sounds good. I am getting mine on this week. Bought my Magna Flow 11226 here http://www.amazon.com
ditch the tail pipe and dump it! Mine sounds alot better than that I think. Try it. Just undo the entire tailpipe section and bolt on a 60 degree turn down. Point it out a bit towards the tire so you don't hear a woosh sound. Just V-8 music....I left the resonator and have no drone to speek of. I think you'll like this set up. It sounds awesome. I wish I had some way of putting video up. Maybe I'll work on that.......
mytundrarocks,
did you put the turn down right after the muffler? If so, what size did you use if you can remember? No problems with exhaust smells in the truck?

Make sure to check your state and local laws and/or inspection rules.
In PA, a vehicle's exhaust must exit behind the passanger compartment and out from the side or the back of the vehicle. I wanted to dump my exhaust but no shops would do it because it would just fail inspection here.
So find a mechanic and ask him first just to make sure before you do it.

Yep, I had maybe 8" of pipe and the the turn down. I've never smelled any exhaust fumes ever, with the back window down too. I actually did mine thru Monroe Muffler. It was 2 1/2" pipe. I kept the resinator.
