Help!
I need to know the torque on the lower ball joint nut......2004 tundra double cab 4x4....I just found mine is LOOSE!!!!!!!!!1
This is the same side that had all the work after done to it after was t-boned last year.............DAMMIT!
I did search.........crap!

I figured it was 100+ or so....I was about to go look in my old 4runner FSM for a base line!
Now I gotta worry about the fact that this ball joint has been pounding the knuckle for who knows how long and has possibly ruined it.......great!
And I can't go back to the body shop.......it's been well over a year.........50K miles......
Once again........never let anybody do anything.......O well.

With the wheel elevated and the cotter pin removed........the nut was finger tight!!!!!!!
It did tighten to 117 easily,,,,,,,,,,,didn't make any weird noises, creeks, etc.
I wonder if I can expect a wonderful BJ failure any time soon.......maybe on the freeway.......at speed.......
