Default As we can lower the windows with 1 quick push, can we close them with 1 push (pull)?

My Lexus has that 1 push/1 pull option to open /close any window. I wonder why the Tundra offers the 1 push down but not 1 pull UP ? What would it take to make it work ?

Our RAV4 has this option as well. I'm not sure what would be needed to mock it.

A viper/dei alarm with a window up/down module will allow you to do that.
Maybe some alarm gurus can help me out with this.. i think its the 530T?

Yes, it can be done and I have it on mine. The above is correct DEI 530T window module is what is needed.

This is a small box that installs in-line between the window controls and the window motors. The main reason for it is to roll down windows from your alarm remote and to automatically roll them up when alarm is armed. The one touch up and down is sort of just an added benefit.

I am almost positive you could get this just for the one touch operation even if you had no alarm or just factory keyless entry. You would essentially just not use all the connections as there would be no alarm to connect to.

Should be able to get the 530T off ebay for right around $50.

i always wonder the same thing. ever wonder if you can just put in a Sequoia master switch into our trucks and it will work? sequoia's has number of windows (as a DC), same mirror control (some are different and is on center console), and visually looks to be the same switch, but the sequoia's have auto up AND down for BOTH the front windows. i don't know if the auto is built into the master switch or if it is something different. just a thought. wouldn't it be nice if it was built into the master switch and you can just plug it in a it will work? well, i don't even know if the connector on the back of the switch is the same.

My 99 4runner had it for both windows up and down. It's funny cause I was thinking that this weekend. You get use to it and once it's gone it's like an addiction LOL. Your craving it. Oh man pretty bad ha when you are craving your windows to go down and up!!

It is very nice to have, they aren't that hard to install. I installed one in mine and one in a friend's Dodge Ram.

I broke a tab to mod the up/down switch so it would work both ways, on my supra. I bet the same would work on the tundra. I might take a look.

You mean you broke a tab on the switch connector itself?

Mercedes has had this feature for quite awhile. They have a sensor on each window so that you don't chop your hand/head off when the window goes up. I hope the above (kits) have this feature. lawsuit anyone? doug

In order to make the passenger side auto up/dwn
You need a motor that has limit switch in it and a pulse sensor.
Then you need to run the wires for the pulse sensor and limit switch to the passenger door ecu (sig and pulse). The passenger door ecu would also have to have the logic in it to allow all of this with the proper signals. The drivers door ecu would also have to have the logic in it to allow this and youd have to run wires to the pasenger side for the multiplex system communication.

Your better off going aftermarket like you guys have already pointed out. DEI 530T is a real good unit.

Of course they do, you can even adjust the amount of resistance needed to stop the windows to compensate for older/newer window motors.
