Default Suspension height difference after 1" block install

I'm hoping you guys can help me diagnose a problem that I have found after installing 1" rear blocks the other day. My first mistake was that I didn't measure my driver and passenger side height before installing them. But after installation, there's about a 3/8" difference in height from side to side.

What I have already checked:
- Measures from multiple points on the truck: bottom of wheel, center of hub, the ground
- Tire pressure
- The blocks to make sure they fit right and were pulled together tightly
- Leaf springs to make sure there was no difference or broken leaf

From there, the only thing I can think of is that the gas tank is on the driver's side, and that the weight of the fuel may make that side sag. Any ideas would help!

i would drive it around for a awhile and then recheck everything and see what it looks like then. something may settle and level out.

Thanks. I've driven it for a couple days now and it is the same. It's enough of a difference that I can now see it, and it it's driving me nuts!

Hopefully it will work itself out....

you could just get some 3/8 steel plate, notch it and put it above or below the block to level it out

Leaf spring nuts all torqued to spec and showing near even stud length?

Take them out and measure it again? That may be the only way to see if the diff was there all along.

Try measuring from the axle to the ground on either side of the differential. If the measurements are equal, the problem is with the suspension.

If the measurements are different then check your wheels and tires. Try temporarily swapping your Left-Rear and Right-Rear tires. Does the height difference move to the other side?

Thanks for the advice guys. I have checked to make sure that all the nuts are torqued the same and that the same length of stud is showing on each side of each u-bolt. I'll be sure to do some more measurements to make sure it's the suspension that's out of whack and see what I find.

That's normal, all the heavy stuff like the battery, gas tank, driver is on the same side. My truck has .5" difference between the driver and passenger side with a full gas tank. It get's almost even on an empty tank.

Mine measures about 1/4" lower on the left - before I get in it.

Thanks. That's not very encouraging, considering that driver weight will make it worse! Guess I'll have to deal with it.
