This is my first post, I found this forum while searching for tires. I have owned my Tundra for about a year and a half and love it more every day.
It's time to replace the tires and I found a great deal on some Good Year Wrangler Silent Armors in 265-75-16. Will they fit up on my stock wheel without rubbing the body? I have no suspension modifications.
Integrator43 - I will let you know before someone else lights you up...yes those tires will fit no issues at all. But before you post a question like this - use the "Search" function or look in the proper section of the forum (i.e. "wheels and tires") - this has surely been asked before. Welcome to the forum - there is a wealth of knowledge to be gained here...read first, then ask questions
Thanks IntegraGSR - I may do just what you suggested.
I appreciate everyone's response and acceptance of my "newbie" type of question, I'll be sure to search more in the future.
be sure to check all the info on lifts and 285 tires.Alot of people didn't seem to happy with the power, torque, and gas loss. I have the same tires your talking about and they have been good to me. Not the best in rain on an incline taking off but then I get to test the LSD.....tons of info to drive yourself nuts with but it is ALL useful. Good luck.

true. please note that with 285's, performance will suffer. with the larger rolling diameter, you will most likely also lose MPG. i wished i went with 285's, but at the same time glad that i didn't because i do tow a boat sometimes. so you have to take everything in account, depending on what you use your truck.

I'm using them right now, 265/75/16 is a fairly standard replacement for the factory tires, due to it being a more common size(I think). the look better than stock too.
