Default '06 tundra dw edition tire question

Hey Gang. Long time no talk. Need your help here. My 2006 Tundra Double Cab DW (Darryl Waltrip) Edition came with TRD rims and 275/55/R18 tires. I would like run BFG AT's but they do not come in my tire size. So I'm wondering what those of you who have DW Tundra's have done. I am also considering the Nitto's, but BFG's are my first pick if there is a size that will fit. My truck is bone stock and I have no future plans for a lift kit, so spacing is important.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks!

hi go to tire rack on the web. see what they say, after you input all the info.
you can also ask your dealership, what tire's can go on?
for whatever you are looking for off road, rain, mid, highway, city etc.
also the smallest or the largest without it hitting the wheel well's.
you can also check with local tire shop's, for all your question's.
i to had a issue with my 20" rim's. and i did alot of research,
& found better than i ever expected.
and now i'm happy forever as long as they keep on making them.
good luck,
gorilla

Thanks for all your help on this, I sure appreciate it. By the way, I noticed you removed the stripes/graphics on your truck. That was the very first thing I did on my truck and it never looked better. I get comments from time to time about the truck or people asking where I got the grill, rims, etc. It really is a nice package, asides from the tacky graphics. I really like the exhaust note. I added a K&N filter last evening and noticed a difference today while driving it around town. The truck just sounds awesome...I also got a small increase in HP. Not a lot mind you, but a noticeable difference. Well worth $50.00 for a lifetime air filter, don't you think?

actually, I bought the truck used and the original owner removed the grafix... as far as the intake mod.. I actually still run the stock filter and airbox but I DID do the free intake mod which is removing the top carbon filter on inside the airbox. I got a bit more throttle response and it appears to be about 25% louder than 100% stock... I MIGHT do just a dry drop in filter, but I really dont have a need for that seeing as though I dont need more power. overall, I love the small accessories that our edition trucks come with and YES, they grill is awseom
