Unhappy timing belt

2002 tundra 188,000 miles replaced timing belt.
drove for approximately 2000 miles ran fine. Check engine light came on. cylinder randomly missfiring 2,4,6,8. Removed cam timing covers.Crank and cylinder 1 lined up on top dead center marks but right cam timing mark was off tdc.
What could have happened?
Thanks

did you rev at high rpm before that happend ? If you drive at high rpm maybe the tensioner gave up and caused the belt to slip. Maybe needs a new tensioner.Did you replaced the old one when you did your tim. belt?

You need to do this manually use the number one piston to check the timming. The crank shaft pulley might have slipped showing you its out of timing when it actually is.
