Default Automatic accessory shut down??

Well, I left my driver's door ajar a coulpe of days ago and the battery was dead in the morning. Newer vehicles have an automatic accessory shut down feature. I did a couple of searches but could not find any such mod. Does anyone know if there is such a mod or has anyone done this themselves?

I know Ive seen some sort of device out there that will automaticly shut the battery power off if the power level drops below a certain level. I think is called the battery tender, mate, or something like that. It connects to the battery then the terminal connects to it. Not as good as automatic accesory shutdown, but at least your truck would start in the morning.

I've had this happen a couple of times since I've owned my Tundra. I blame it on the battery. I replaced the batt last year at Autozone. I got a (Duralast). It's a crap battery. I was going to put in an Optima but got in a hurry. Dang.

Second thing: Doesn't a battery tender use house power (110V)? So you would have to unplug the tender and stow the cord. Of course that beats having a dead battery.

Just my thoughts.
