Question Starter Issue

I see we are all having starter issues, I've got a 2000 Tundra 457,000kms just started having cranking issues (turn key nothing repeat it fires up) don't want to get hung up out of town. Battery load tests extremely good, changing terminal connections on battery first.

I hope I don't need to tear down the intake to solve the problem

You've got a ten year old starter with 457K kms. I wouldn't be surprised if you needed to replace your contacts on the starter. I'd say you've been fortunate. Toyota's have a great starter (sucks where they put it). Check all connections and hopefully mustang or someone with a lot more knowledge than me will help you figure it out.

I replaced the starter relay first and still have the same issues as you so its time to replace the starter contacts.
