So I am in the process of renovating the look of my truck and decided to make my fender flairs and body side moldings black. I've recently come across this Line Xtra spray and liked what I've read so far. Anyone here do their grill inserts and bumpers as well as fender flares? How does the stuff look after a while on the plastic????
pictures and testimonials are appreciated!
thanks

The tail gate on my old T100 was dented and scratched up by the previous owner.
I looked into having it repainted, but the cost was high so I decided to have it shot
with LINE-X. It turned out great and I never had to worry about it again
I also had the bed shot and the 8 foot bed on my Tundra was shot as soon as I bought it.
LINE-X is an excellent investment!

Had line-x on my 99 tacoma and it was great. Got a pretty good dent in the wheel well after the liner was 6 years old and the line-x just bent with it, didn't crack or chip. Got it sprayed in my tundra the week that i bought it, awesome investment.
I will add my own positive experience with Line-X. I put it in my 98 Tacoma shortly after I bought it used in 2000. It is still holding up like new and I have hauled dirt, sand, gravel, rocks, lumber, scrap metal, etc. Still no cracks or separating. I just bought my 2006 Tundra and luckily the previous owner had it done. It still looks like new. It is one of the best investments you can make. If you do not have top rails, get the Line-x sprayed over the rails! I have it on the top rail of my Tacoma tailgate and have been unable to wear it through to the metal. The great thing is Line-x claims they will fix it if it ever does fail.
Go ahead and setup an appointment you wont regret it! I have line-x'd all my trucks only had on issue from my 4wheeler bumper rubbing through the line-x but took it back and they fixed it for free! On my 04 tundra i removed the factory plastic caps, bondo'd the holes and had it sprayed over the rails - best investment I've made - no more faded and scratched caps - pics pending

THANK YOU JJC!
that is exactly wat i wanted to see, Line X in something other than a truck bed. Thanks everyone for chiming in. I already have my bed Line Xed but am going to set up an appointment to line-x my grill insert/surround, fender flares and door handles. just waiting for my bilstein 5100s, nitrous, and HID projectors for my fogs and headlights.... wow that's a lot on my plate

Would love some pics of the results. My fender flares are faded pretty bad. I have it in the bed and the only thing that has chipped it is the mower blade from my sons lawn service.

if it's chipped go back to where you got it sprayed and they will respray for free. there are a few members that have Line Xed their entire front bumpers for the Gen 1's. I've seen pix of Gen 2's with Line X Xtra grill surrounds and bumpers that have been color matched to their trucks and i must say they look SWEET.
as for pics i will post them as soon as possible. it might be a little while though because im waiting for when i can have a free weekend to pull the door panels to get at the handles. only problem is shes my daily driver.
