Default Replacement front bumper

Aloha. I want to replace my front bumper with something a bit more rigid and useful. I have done a bit of research on replacement bumpers and want to hear from other Tundra owners about the pros and cons of any replacement bumpers you all have installed. Thanks.

Tim

Lots of guys like the ARB. They are kind of pricey, but top notch quality. You will want to get a leveling kit at the minimum because they are pretty heavy and will lower the front of your truck.

if you dont want to go too extreme but still want tough protection go with the arb, it has crumple zones built into its mounting design so if you get in a really bad wreck it will absorb energy and your airbags will still deploy. but if your looking for pure function and strength check out some custom fab'd bumpers some members have on here jjc's is definitely my favorite and is what i would like to do in the future, but these designs usually do away with the crumple zones which could potentially be dangerous on the highway. i hope this helps and good luck on your decision!

I have an 07 Tundra. Hit a deer. She did a nose dive to the front wheel an crumpled the corner of front bumper 'cover'. I thought if you replaced with an ARB ,Toyota would void warranty? Wouldn't matter but I have 100000. warranty and live on 13 miles of rough dirt road, warranty comes in handy with the 'road demons'. Do any of you know if you can replace bumper with the chrome version? Toyota hasn't answered and dealership says it can't be done, that it doesn't bolt up the same.
