i have a 2001 2wd access cab, and i want to put 305 70r16 toyo muds on it, do you think it will rub to bad or should i go with a smaller size? ive searched and haven't found anything helpful by the way
I would stick with 285/75/16's. They are about the same diameter, but a little narrower. I think those 305's will rub like crazy, but there are plenty of people running 285's with little or no rub with a mild lift.

question: how are you getting a 3 1/2 lift from toytec? they only offer a 3". i had 295's on mine and i rubbed, but it was only a 3" lift. stick to a 285.

if you look at the ultimate lift it says up to 3 1/2 inches, i know its weird to me too because i know they are bilstiens maybe there differnt because they are through toytec, how bad did yours rub?
with just the 3" it rubbed bad. i even took off the mudflaps and had the wheel adapters. drove it around for the day, i thought it was going to rip off my fender, thats how bad it rubbed. took it back threw on the 285's much better. there is only a 1/2" difference between them, not worth it.
toytecs coilovers can go beyond 3.5". they use a threaded collar instead of the notches. also they have a top plate that adds about 3/8" vs the stock top plate. as for bumpy ride, not at all. ive got mine 4" over stock on my 2wd ac. its just a lil tighter than stock but by no means uncomfortable. im runnin on 285/75 with 16" rims. had a slight rub in reverse if i turn out of my driveway. trimmed a tiny bit of my front bumper and its solved.
