I have a 2006 Tundra DC Limited 4WD. It came with the port installed 18" BBS wheels. I currently have 275/55/R18 tires. I want to upgrade to BF Goodrich All Terrain KO tires. The only size they have is 285/65/18. The local truck shop said I would need a leveling kit up front. I have several questions the forum readers may have advice or knowledge on.

1. Is the leveling kit the best way to go or a small lift.

2. I know this sounds bad, but how bad do you think the leveling kit or lift kit and tires will kill gas mileage? Right now I get pretty much the sticker 14/17.

3. Is there long term problems I should worry about adding any of these upgrades?

Thanks!!

Go with the 5100's. Do a search you should find a ton of info on them. You shouldn't loss too much MPG's or power on that set-up

Go Icon... much better performance and no spacer stuff to worry about. I had some on my 2004 DC and loved them....
