Auto vent shade for almost 3 years without any problems. Parked outside. Keeping out the rain worth the extra noise. Dog agrees.

I want something to deflect the water away from the side window.

Lurker,
Know why the A/C comes on when you turn on the defroster? SO THE WINDOWS DON'T FOG!
Driving in the rain with a window cracked is so your great grandfather.

Personal oppinion - I love them. Never had them on a vehicle before. I smoke, so it's nice to be able to crack the window, even in the winter.
Auto Ventshade stick on's on mine. Five years now +/-. I did have to redo the tape on one a couple years ago. I take it through the car wash all the time, never had one come off, but I do think about it when I'm in there. I wasn't real fond of sticking them on the paint at first but I've gotten over it.
