Default Painted VIS Racing Hood

Franky AKA Gutz here hooked me up this weekend and painted my hood. Took about 4 hours for prep, paint and dry. It came out looking amazing! It matches beautifully! If it looks a shade lighter in the pics, it's because my truck is dirtier than hell and it's new paint. But the match is dead on!

The hood is the VIS Racing Fiberglass Outlaw Type 1 I posted a while back ago. Finally got around to getting it painted and the results are....for lack of a better word "WOW".

Nice hood.... Was there any additional fitting of the fiberglass required before painting - the fit and match is outstanding.

Thanks dude! I just didn't have time to get it painted. Finally got around to it. As for the GB, the rep never contacted and would never call me back. I left plenty of messages for him. I'll be going over there this week to take a couple pics of some different hoods for some friends. So I'll find out then.

Thanks! There was no additional fitting required. It lined up perfectly the moment I put it on. They got the fitment down to a T on this thing and it looks amazing!

Thanks! I haven't gotten any crap for my tint yet. But as long as you drive normal and don't flaunt it, you'll be fine. However, I drive with my windows down most of the time and it makes the windshield look stock. Only when all windows are up does the windshield look tinted. The tint on the WS looks darker in the pics than it really is. It's only 70%.
