Default Oil Coming from Breather

This question is for a 2004 double cab 4wd.

I changed my transfer case and differential oils, and now I have oil coming out of the smaller of the two underhood breather tubes. It looks like it goes to the front differential.

I pulled the front diff plug and the level seems correct.

Is it normal to lose oil out of the breather after a oil change if the level is correct?

Thanks in advance.

Scott

Still over serviced if oil is coming out! it should be below the inside opening of the hole just a tad!

Thanks for the reply.

My garage is at a slight angle, didn't think that would make much of a difference, only slightly more oil. Turned the truck around, draining slowly from the level hole now.

Preciate the help.

Most gear oil has anti-foaming agents but some have more than others but as long as you keep it below the inside of the round opening it should not vent! Finding a flat level surface is important and you should check and sercvice it at this same place to keep from having this breather overflow! big mess to clean up but that is what they made WD40 for and then just wash it off once ya get the level correct!

Look at it this way, where it is coming out is the only place on my tundra frame that doesn't have any rust
