Default Can the IAC be cleaned w/o removal?

Tundra AC 4.7L V8

I'm getting the P0505 error and wondering if the IAC can be cleaned (thoroughly) w/o removal or can it be removed w/o taking the TB off? I don't feel like draining coolant

The intake air sensor is made into the mass airflow sensor sitting atop the air filter cover. Remove the 2 Phillip screws and pull it straight up. Autozone has a mass airflow sensor spay cleaner. Just be careful not to hit the sensor with the tube the spay comes out of. It is a 10 minute job at the most. Very easy.......

Thanks for the info! I actually had 3 codes P0505 (IAC), P0171 (lean abnk 1) and P0155 (O2 bank 2 sensor 1). I changed the fuel filter, cleaned the MAF sensor, cleaned inside TB and cleared the codes. The only one that came back is the O2, which I'll replace tonight. So, I must have done something right.

Thanks Again,

Eric
