Question Where to mount HD Radio Tuner? - Toyota Tundra Forums : Tundra Solutions Forum

I recently purchased a Sony HD Radio Tuner, to be added to my existing Sony head unit that is "HD Radio Ready."

I'm not sure where to mount this. Has anyone else added the tuner? I'm thinking I'll just stuff it back behind the head unit. Any reason I would need access to it?

I installed a Kenwood vertically behind the HVAC controls.

I put my Sony HD tuner under the passenger front seat and secured it to the seat spring with zip ties so it'd be off the floor. Haven't had any issues with it. The included wiring was plenty long enough to run through the center console and into the deck in the dash.

Yeah I think i'm gonna try mounting it like that. Seems like a good setup.
