Default leveling kit for 2003 Tundra step side?

Hey guys thought I would get your expert opinion on what to do to level my 2003 step side. I guess a block would be the best way to go and continue to use my TRD 9100 billsteins? The shocks have 80K miles on them. To level I don't know if I should go 3in or 2.5in block, or if I should use the block method at all. What do you guys think. Want to keep best ride possible. Thanks.

If you want a nice ride do what most everybody here did. get bilstein 5100 shocks. Look around for the million posts about them. spacers cost about the same so do it right, you will hate the ride quality with a spacer lift. If $ is no biggie, and you don't mind doin some research, check out full coilovers. look at my pics, those are toytecs, fully adjustable ride height. If you go too far up, you will need uniball upper control arms, if you have 4wd, you will need a diff drop kit and will likely have cv joint issues. check around, best thing to read is the second sticky in the off-road section. its under devinsixtyseven's name, off-road tundra mods.

Thanks. Yours looks sweet. Pardon my ignorance, but what did you put in the rear? 5100's or the factory shocks? Think I'm gona do just what you did. Hopefully it will improve my ride. The 9100's that came with my TRD package beat the fillings out of my teeth.

thanks bud. Ignorance is knowing something and ignoring it. Nothing ignorant about asking for info. I put 5100s in the rear, I didn't bother lifting the rear, just changed the shocks. After doing the front my rear shocks felt weird, maybe from the angle of my truck changing. that's why I put 5100s in and its way better. the 5100s for the front are a bit different than the rear ones because they hold your springs. good luck.

Toytec makes a good product. I've got the 3" toytec lift, with the AAL in the rear. Make sure you do the diff drop if you have 4 wheel drive. For the effort to install the lift, do the 3", rather than 2.5".
