    Default 2003 OEM skidplate issues

the first time i drained my oil on this truck a couple of years ago it was missing 2 screws. i just dealt with it until i finally got the replacement screws. after changing both my rear O2 sensors yesterday i went to install the new bolts and the holes don't line up!

    WTF???

i got the front 3 in and one on the rear. the other is off by 3/4 a diameter of the bolt. is there a certain order they need to be installed for them to fit? wiggling, shaking and cussing failed to get it to line up....

I got sick of the skid plate a few years ago and upgraded to a skid row plate. I never had to drop it to do an oil change after that. I also added a Fumoto valve so I don't even have to remove the oil pan bolt anymore either.

I get the two in the back started first, then the three in the front started, then tighten them all down. That way it gives you a little room to jockey the skid plate around. Plus plenty of never seize.

Is your plate bent by any chance? Dented?

    Skid Row plate. Good investment.

This is about Skid Row. I have an '06 and the Trans Case plate does not line up with my tranny cross member, and if I make that line up, I have to drill 4 new thru holes on the frame. Has anyone else seen this on thier '06 w/skid row plates?
