    Default aftermarket trans cooler

When installing an aftermarket trans cooler, is everyone leaving the existing oe transcooler and installing a second in line or replacing the old one with the larger cooler? May be a foolish question, but thought I'd ask. I was thinking of putting to aftermarket one in place of the old oe setup.

Thanks baja, that's the exact way I was going to install my cooler. Just wanted some confirmation as for those who have already done an install.

Did anyone bypass the radiator to avoid the strawberry milkshake? If so, did you use a good synthetic?

Well did the install yesterday, and it turned out just fine. Once I figured out how I wanted to mount it, I made my own brackets out of 1/8'' x1 alum stock and used all stainless nutz and boltz. After getting the cooler in, I hooked up the lines and with no leaks done.
