*Swapping mirror caps on an 05 DC* Chrome to White

How hard is it to take off the chrome mirror caps on the backside of the mirrors? Like these:

I have been trying to get most of my chrome parts either black or white so I'd like to find some white ones.
I want these:





*If someone has some white ones off of the limited edition DC tundra's and wants to trade. Give me a shout! And send me some pictures if you can.

I have an 05 limited in white. I destroyed my passenger mirror backing out of my garage.
I bought a new one all white for $68.00 from toyotapartszone.com.

does Plastidip make white? you could paint them.

@bgeorge: do you happen to know the part number that you used? I searched through that part catalog for a while and couldn't find the correct part.

I'm hoping someone will come along that wants the chrome ones and might be willing to trade.

I thought about just painting them but Toyota has a specific white that they use and I don't think that just any white will match. I think it has to be Aspen white I think

Your truck looks awesome! If you put in your vin number in their website, the exact parts for your truck will come up. I will look up my part # and post it next. My mirror is heated. They also sell the mirror that is not heated

They do make white plasti dip if you wanted to cover all that chrome up ASAP. Then you can peel it off when you find new parts or a trade.

HEATED RH #87940-0C050-A0 and LH #87940-0C110-A0

The cost is a lot higher then I remember paying 3 years ago. These are all in white.
You may be able to find them cheaper using the part numbers. I had to remove the upper part of the inside panel to remove the nuts that held the mirror on and unplug the wires.
