LOL! Doesn't smell in the winter, summer is a different story! Cool fact, Lake County has the second cleanest air in the country!
You got it! This is Hull Mt. Right above lake Pilsbury. I ride up here too a lot at Penny Pines, but the other day all the trails were closed due to snow and excessive rain. After these past storms the land has really changed and every creek is a river now, and rivers are just huge!

Life's a bore, I'm going pig hunting...
I ran KYB on my VW, but I don't think I'd run it on my Tundra. I thought about changing my fluids again... then noticed it's kinda cold, then went back into my house to watch Wheelers Dealers for inspiration.
thought about adjusting my headlights a little higher so i can see better at night, its cold so ill think about it more tomorrow.

It's got 4 wheels with a bed and it starts every time I turn the key.

I thought about my complaints about cold weather bothering guys who live in places where it snows... then I put on a sweater and went back inside.
I collected oil, trans/diff fluid so I can change them all at once when temps get back to a reasonable 60* or so. Ordering new brake lines for the front today, they have a banjo fitting to provide more clearance at the caliper. Picked up some brake fluid for when that day comes.
Now I'm day dreaming of a warm weather leaf spring install, maybe next month.![]()
Had my windshield replaced.
Given that it's 25 degrees outside, I'm hoping that the adhesive will cure!![]()
Replaced the resonator....I was heading out to do some shopping today & the truck sounds like hell on start up, I recognize the lack of a muffler so go see if something came loose and discover an 18" section missing just behind the Y-pipe. Good news is the dumbasses got the resonator & not the catalytic converter they were aiming for, I am still out a hundred bucks but the bad news is these guys are likely to strike again when they figure it out. Local shop guy has 3 other vehicles from my neighborhood in for the same thing, the ***** is my garage is detatched & in back, I have a motion light but it only takes about 45 sec. to cut one of those out.
hi there,
since i bought my first tundra in 2000, ive wanted a floor mounted 4wd switch, as i HATE looking for the dash 4wd button. If im on the highway, or out f@$king around, i never can get to the dash button easily, or quick enough if i need it. i owned my 2000 until 2007, when i bought the new style tundra. having to sell it due to divorce, i bought a 2006 double cab. i loved my 2007 limited, but would not buy another due to the extremely good traction control. i love to drive my vehicles, and the traction control in the newest style tundra doesnt allow it. so i bought a limited 06, and got down to figuring out a floor mounted switch. i used an old school high beam switch, and built a bracket on the floor. After figuring out what toyota was doing between the dash button and the 4wd ecu, i made it work. best mod i have ever done to any of my tundras. Not sure if i will keep this style switch, or custom make another style, but for now it is awesome. this new switch only does the job of 2hi-->4hi, and nothing with the 4lo button. the stock 2hi-->4hi switch can still be used, once the floor switch is reset back to 2hi setting. im thinking of offering this switch as a kit if there is enough interest.

ummm thats cool, you hate looking for the 4wd button on the dash? does yours move around, mine has stayed where toyota put it since 2004.....
granted, i wish i had a floor mounted xfer case shifter but its not a big deal, i realize when i will need 4wd and turn it on ahead of time...
