Will be replacing the blower motor in my 2005 DC. I am looking for the best quality out there. Really not interested in the cheapest. What brand is considered the best, without having to go to the dealer? Thanks

$122 online for Toyota blower motor/gerbal cage, $430 for complete Toyota blower unit; both online prices.
RockAuto.com has some cheap motors....
Are you sure its the blower motor, and not the control module/resistor?
If we're talking about the same thing, I bought one from Toyota Parts - Genuine OEM Toyota Auto Parts and Accessories a few years back for about $45.

If you're talking about the heater/AC blower motor (the one under the heater core above the passenger footwell), toyotapartszone.com has 'em for $49. Part #87103-0C010.

Must be quite a difference between the part you guys are looking at and the one the OP needs.
are you guys quoting for a DC?... OP has an 05 DC. Part #87103-0C022...about $121 from toyotapartszone or toyomotorparts.
I have an '02 AC. The part Remmy refers to is the one I was talking about. It's the same part you refer to, but obviously a different model. There must be one h*ll of a difference between the years for the part for his truck to be that much more. I hope the thing can make coffee too.

Just checked the prices on CamelbackToyota.com (pretty cheap prices on most things). They only want $48.44 for an AC, but want $117.98 for the DC part. I guess the bigger cab requires a different blower motor.

I bought a TYC off of Ebay and so far I am very happy with it. The price was around $35 or so. If OEM is going for $45, that is probably the way to go. The OEM blower was a DENSO.

^^ I just wanted to get mine off so I could clean 13yrs of farm crap off it...Couldnt get it off, so just cleaned it with a dry toothbrush...Didnt think the motor would like a dunking in the bathtub with all the other interior parts I had to scrub.![]()
Mine was making a PITA squealing noise so I took it apart to lube it up and clean the fan while I was at it. It ended up being I needed a whole new unit.
