Replacement Tail Lights

Anyone have these tail lights on their 2004 or later Tundra?

Says they fit a 2004, but they look like the 2005/2006 tail lights to me.

Update: Apparently these fit only the crew cab. That's too bad. Anyone know of a similar looking aftermarket tail light for the access cab/regular cab models? I like the red/clear lens combination but don't want anything too Euro looking.

those are DC tails.

i have 05/06 tail lights on my 04. they look much better IMO.

its a direct swap, you just have to get the harness as well. it plugs in right under the back of the bed. i got mine on ebay 5 years ago at a good price.

Unfortunately, I have an access cab so they won't fit.

Ok, so what is the difference between the DC & AC as far as tails, grilles & bumpers go? I keep seeing this but havent found an explanation yet.

bumpers & grilles are pretty much the same but the lights are bigger. lights would be bigger because the DC is bigger than the AC and they want it to be super duper ooper tough. broke it down barney style for ya.

from 00-04 they used different bulbs than the 05-06. so if you want to upgrade to the newer style tails you have to get the updated "tail light" harness. it plugs right in under the rear quarter panel.

Couldn't you get the tail lights from an 05/06 AC? They have the red/clear lens look you're going for. You might not even need a new wiring harness since it's an AC...

I don't know....will they fit? If so, I have no problem changing the harness connector. I'm assuming there's a good reason why the 05/06 regular/access cab lights don't show up for the 2004 model year search. The shape looks right, but I'm not sure about the connector.

clearly you guys have not been reading what i have written... if you have a 00 - 04 and you want the new 05-06 tail lights you HAVE to get the 05-06 UPDATED HARNESS.......

it cannot get any easier than that. and there is not a crayon font for this forum or else i would have used it

Change the harness, no problem. I just want to be sure they physically fit. Just looked at your pics. Exactly what I'm looking for. Where did you get them? Can you provide a link to the manufacturer's website? I found some on Amazon, but there are two slightly different part numbers from one particular manufacturer: 3121968RAS and 3121968RAC. (AS vs. AC). No clue what the difference is.

just go to ebay and type in tundra 05 tail lights.

i got mine off ebay and 5 years later they still look new.
