1Gen-TundraGeneral discussion forum for the 2000 to 2006 Toyota Tundra.
This is a discussion thread titled "T3 Tundra Owners? (Post Here)", within the 1Gen-Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
I have an 05 AC SR5 but where I work Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada, there are at least 2 in the parking lot.
Does anyone know the total # of T3's produced?
I haven't seen an official number, but I'm pretty sure it';s around 800 or so. Even less out there now as someone on this board has totaled one already.
I got a Jade Mica Green T3. Has only 5,500 miles on it since I bought it on Oct. 2003. Will post pics when my new house is finished..other than that I love it...and it sounds and rides like a T3 should...
mod: Unichip, JBAs, TRD Anti-sway bar, ridin on Chrome 20's, Eclipse DVD/Nav. System and JGM color bed cover...and thats all the mods I needed.. [/i]
I own a T3 and I'm from Canada. There is a plaque on my dashboard that says "T3 Special Edition Only 200 Produced" Here it only came in black (mine) or dark metalic grey. Mines 4x4, silver cloth seats, T3 logo (diff then US) on box, T3 floor matts, heavy duty sway bar, tokico shocks, borala dual exhaust and air cleaner, posi rear end, diff grill etc. Nice truck.
I have one, but it doesn't look exactly like it did when I bought it new. I switched out the grill so I could have a billet insert and changed the wheels. Great truck. Still yearning for more power though (s/c maybe?)...
I heard something like 850 US models were made...?

Thanks for the kind words. I have the lower billet insert for the bumper and just agreed to purchase a TRD s/c last night off a show truck with (supposed) 3000 miles on it.
I just met / talked with the owner of a Canadian T3 Edition Tundra - a 4 wheel drive T3 Tundra.
I knew there were only 200 of them here in Canada, but I wrongly ASSUMED they were all 4x2 as in the USA.
Any 4x4 T3s south of the border?
PS - I told the owner to pop in and pay us a visit here at TS. Oh - he happens to work for TMMI Cambridge, ON (Corolla, Matrix, 1 Lexus model built there) . Might have some interesting input . . .
