Thumbs up Tire Size

Just to let you know! I have just put 33 inch tires on my 2004 Tundra. I have a 2 1/2 inch leveling kit in the front, and running boards. there is no rubbing. They look and ride great. Pro Comp is the brand, a little cheeper that BFG's. If you would like to see them, check out my photo gallery.

Do you have a problem with any rubbing? Are those the A/T Pro Comps?

Look good but always heard customeres say they get bad mileage/wear out of the procomps. Especially the x-terrains .

For a moment there, I was hopeful, you'd had some success using the "stock" wheels. After looking at your photos, I now see why you have no rubbing issues... aftermarket wheels with more back spacing.

Oh well, guess I'll continue to stick with the 265/75/16's then... .

I just noticed that to...he must not have added a leaf spring to the rear. I have a 2" leveling kit on front and when I put it on the rear was lower than the front...I added an 1 1/2 rear add-a-leaf to solve the problem.

They look good. Did you raise the rear end any with the leveling kit. I did the same thing; it came with a rear leaf to add 1", and 2 1/2 front. I tried the 295/70R 17 Toyo MT's, but they rubbed on the upper A-arm. Went with 285/70R 17 Toyo AT's. There around 32 1/2", and ride much smoother than the MT's; although the MT's looked real nice.

Default 285 70r17

I run 285 70R17 Goodyear MTRs on my Double Cab and except for a littte rubbing on the mud flaps the run great. I have put 305 70R 17 on a Access cab and they rubbed the frame and occasionally the control arm when turning hard or on low air pressure. There wasn't any problem with wear on the sidewall. Although they did take the gas mileage down a bit. With the 305s there is just a fraction of an inch clearance between the control arm and sidewall. On hard turns the will rub the frame. I ran them for 36,000 miles before the truck was totaled in an accident. My current 285s have almost 75,000 miles on them and they run great in mud, snow and ice.
