Default 2004 Tundra DC Keyless entry help

I am looking for some instructions on how to program a Keyless entry FOB for my 2004 Tundra Double Cab. I have been all over the net and tried many different ways and have had no success.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Are you trying to register a new remote or to change the system programming?

Default Keyless entry programming help

One of my remotes stopped working about 2 weeks ago, I changed the battery thinking it was dead but it still does not work, the second remote my wife uses works fine.

Glad you posted this thread (Jrfan)... cause, the EXACT SAME FREAKIN' THING has just happened to me! This past Sunday as a matter of fact! Wife's remote still works too!

My first impression too, was the battery in my remote, but I haven't check it as of yet. Taking into consideration that I hardly ever drive the truck, with it only having about 3,000 miles on it now, I've had my doubts from the beginning, as to whether it's the battery or not. However, after reading of your situtation, it "NOW" leads me to believe, that I could ALSO be in the same boat you're in.

I sure hope Glenn has a "quick-fix" answer for us!!!!

Thanks for the thread question... . I'll be following this one closely!

Good link except for Double Cabs which do not have a RS3200 based system.

Yes, but I still get no confirmation when I turn the Key from lock to on and back to lock. I am using the add mode, should I be using another one?

My only suggestion is that you are missing a step, instruction or the timing required. Have you checked with your dealer.

Ya know, Im having a similar issue, except that its the chirping Im trying to replace with the horn whenever i arm/unarm the truck. I usually have to unlock twice whenever someone else is coming along (which the link to the alarm site helps) but how to get it to change to the horn is another question. Any ideas?
