You came to the right place.
Sub? Why not just buy a JL sub and be done with it? Go to the website and see what comes loaded with the stealthbox and buy another one just like it. Or, look at the spec's and find a speaker with similar specs. If that is a little daunting, ask a certified dealer (not crutchfield). I'm sure they would be happy with setting up your system
I currently am running Boston Pro 6.5 components in the doors. They sound wonderful. The crossover has a -4 dB L-pad (jargon) for the tweeter which is neccessary or it will overpower you with high frequencies. (The 6.2 pro's with the Neo 1t tweeter sounded much better IMHO) There are DIY links in TS that will walk you through the door speaker install and R&R of the door panel and how to space the window tracks back for extra depth needed for the larger magnets on aftermarket speakers.
I am running a Boston G2-1044 sub in a sealed enclosure behind the passenger seat. I have a reg cab so space is at a premium. The gross internal volume is about .7 cu. ft.
Amps? Many of them on the market. I have a Rockford 50x2 (old school) running the sub at 1ohm, about 350 watts. Great old amp as long as you run it down to 1 ohm. For the mids/highs in the doors I'm running a Eclipse 2200 (60x2 @ 4 ohms) Nice amp also. Very clean and great adjustability.
Now, if you don't know what any of what I've said means, please do some homework and know what you want before you pull the trigger. I've heard so many ****ty sounding systems simply because they weren't planned properly and are "hacked" together by someone who cannot install anything to save his ***. Best Buy's and other big boxes are not your best bet. Ask around and look for a good shop that does good work and will spend the time with you so you get what you are looking for. Crutchfield etc. is not your best bet. Of course all of this is my opinion.
