Angry Someone decided to debadge my Tundra!

I just discovered that someone decided that they wanted my silver 4WD badge from the back of my truck. All that is left are some residual scratches from the knife they used to pry it off and some glue. Now that just chaps my hide! That stuff just really bugs me. Has this ever happened to anyone? Why would some jerk want my badge?
Anyway, where would I go about getting a new one, and how much will it cost me?

I might have mine still. I'll have to check tonight. If I do, you can have it.

When I was younger and dumber I bought a Ford Ranger (it was actually a great truck in the end), my tailgate was stolen TWICE. I understand this is VERY common. There should be a way to lock these to the hinge somehow.

I hope they didn't damage your paint too bad when they took the badge. Lots of people here at TS debadge their trucks, so you should go to the classifieds section and post a "want to buy" for that badge. I'll bet you find one.

Good luck.

ummmmmm you ever hear of a dealer.

now people are stealing 4WD emblems like they steal Honda, Acura, and Mercedes emblems. it is probally from the influence of Gangster Rap and Satanic Heavy Metal music....

If you keep your tailgate locked they can't open it to remove it. It is a pain when you need in the tailgate to unlock it but at least the tailgate is there to unlock!

That's exactly what I do now...the Ranger I had did not lock, so it was sitting there like an open wallet on the street.

lunch,
"Satanic Heavy Metal music" listeners wouldn't bother stealing anything, much less a fricken 4WD emblem. Are you serious about what you wrote?
Rap on the other hand, I would agree with. That whole scene is a celebration of ignorance, violence, and materialism. "Satanic Heavy Metal" music has nothing to do religion or any of the above. In fact, I know PhD's, doctors, MBA's who have listened to metal since grade school. I guess you would have to be a fan to understand. Rap is bull****.

I'd be willing to let you have mine. Pay me shipping and handling and it's yours.

Edit:

I just realized I was in the Tundra section and not Tacoma. If they're the same size, I'm still willing to let you have it.

LOL! In a loud screaming voice, "Kill your mother kill your father!!!" That is the opening line for the satanic rock songs, right?! Maybe they needed it for one of their sacrafices for something! J/K. I guess this can be another bounus to debadging your trucks! No "Satanic Gangsters" can steal the badges!

I'm picturing this: I satanic gangster rapper screaming "kill your mother" with two fingers in the air and his pants down around his knees. His flamed boxers hanging out and a gold chain around his neck with a Toyota 4X4 emblem hanging from it. What's the world coming too!!

They're to late if they want mine . I debadged my truck last week . With the addition of the Sport Grille I don't have a single emblem, decal or logo on the outside of my truck .
