Default a couple dumb questions

What is all the dots in the windshield behind the rearview mirror for?is that sensors for the overhead outside tempeture? If it is I didn't get that option and was wondering,if I remove the dumby cover do you think I would find the wires behind it(like maybe pre wired from the factory incase you want that option?)then I could buy it and just pop it in or am I dreaming that it can be that easy

Also I got 3 remotes with mine 2 are identical and work fine but the 3rd is different and does not unlock my doors or do anything(that I know of).Whats it for?? I looked though the manual and it said nothing about it?...just wondering mabe it just needs new batteries or something ?

ok a few questions
Is the JBL radio set up in any way for satellite radio? and is it a big job to set up if it isn't? thanks guys........

The dots are there to provide some sunlight glare protection where the visors don't cover. Least that's my opinion.

If a combo of all these whizz bangs met their claims you'd have to siphon gas out of your tank every second day and sell the excess horsepower on the third????
If your engine doesn't consume ANY oil it will seize???

LGL002 is right. Those are dot matrix patterns used to block sunlight but also enable's you to see through them for safety purposes. The remote question has me stimied. I got two remotes and 1 valet key with mine.

I got two fobs with my tundra. I wonder if they gave you a fob from another vehicle? Have you tried the key on that fob to see if it fits your truck.

The rear view mirror with temp & compass has to be completely wired - no shortcuts. I had one of my technicians install mine from ebay. I believe it was an EXON brand - works great.

no question is too dumb for TS.

the polka dots are gps sensors for UFOs, and the 3rd remote is to summon the mother ship.

tru dat. sorry bout the joke, but i just couldnt resist. i wish i could be more helpful. one thing is for certain. window tint film does not stick to the polka dots very well. if you apply tint to those areas, tinters will ususally trim around to avoid the polka dot areas. as for the polka dots themselves, they just provide a little extra shading. ive tried scrapping them little buggers off before, doesnt work well. as for the 3rd remote, sounds like the dealer forgot to program it for you. id take it back and ask them to program it for you.

I had a teacher that loved this saying...had the effect of limiting the number of questions asked.
