What brand FMU? A true FMU is a rising-rate fuel pressure regulator, where fuel pressure increases a certain amount of PSI per pound of boost, for example a 12:1 FPR increases fuel pressure an additional 12psi per pound of boost. There won't be any power gain in a naturally-aspirated setup (I don't see turbo or sc listed in your mods),since there's no boost there won't be an increase in pressure. Or are you getting an adjustable fuel pressure regulator?

I haven't done a Tundra install, but I have installed both Vortech ones (FMU and SFMU) in other vehicles.
The FMU is a piggyback style, you keep the stock regulator on and tap into the return line. Run a new hose from the stock regulator to the FPR's side port. The FPR's bottom port connects to the original return line that was originally connected to the stock regulator. The stock return hose is probably too short so you'll need a length of new hose and a double-barbed fitting to connect to the factory fuel line. Top port is a vacuum/boost reference connection, don't use the factory connection (by airbox).Instead tee a source from the intake manifold.
The SFMU can be installed the same way,but since you can adjust static (base) pressure with it I use this as the main regulator and remove the factory one altogether. For a Tundra I'd either drill/tap the stock fuel rail (where the factory regulator was connected) for a new fitting or fab an adapter plate with a fitting already tapped on it. You then run a hose from this fitting to the SFMU's side port,SFMU bottom port to original return hose.

Default turbo in progress

hey wasup thanks for the advice i got a turbo setup on the way and cant afford the the unichip and was told the other safe way was 2 buy a 255lph walbro and a fmu. the other problem is that i cant find a walbro for the tundra everywhere ilook theres no listing for the tundra maybe u could give a partnumber or cross reference another fuel pump from another vehicle using a 255lph walbro thatll fit. as to the fmu let me see if understand what u want me to do im gona disconnect the return hose and run a new hose from the regulator to the inlet on the fmu. then run a new hose from the outlet of the fmu to the origal return hose right?

Yup,new hose from stock regulator to FMU inlet, then another new hose from FMU outlet to the original return hose.

Some TS members run Walbros or Supra TT fuel pumps, you might want to try searching. I'd say use one for a Supra application, and I suggest getting the High Pressure 255 since you're running an FMU.
These guys have good Walbro pricing http://www.autoperformanceengineering.com/
And I found a photo of a Walbro pump installed on a Tundra: http://www.tundrasolutions.com/photo...cat//si/walbro

Default I have new Unichip

Nemesistundra,

I have a Unichip programmed for boost, oversize crank pulley and nitrous that has never been installed. PM me and let's talk....you may be closer than you think. Either way, you will need the fuel system upgrade.
