Here in Oregon we have so many rocks flying around the freeway due to the large amount of trucks that travel on I5. I count at least 2 small pebbles per 10 miles of freeway driving. To make things worse, they put down CRUSHED GRAVEL when it freezes! This is probably why insurance companies in our state don't offer seperate glass coverage - you have to meet your deductible first! I have a formfit bug deflector that saved my butt a few times already. I already had it replaced under it's lifetime warranty, since a larger stone cracked it and saved the front of my truck! The 3M clearbra is probably the best protection you can have for the front of the truck.
