1Gen-TundraGeneral discussion forum for the 2000 to 2006 Toyota Tundra.
This is a discussion thread titled "Keyless Entry Beeps", within the 1Gen-Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
trying to get it to work on my 06 ac, but to no avail very frustrating..
Does your truck have the factory alarm or just keyless? I think this programming only applies to the keyless WITH factory alarm.

No it doesn't programming applies on all the rs3200 based factory keyless system .overall on the sec feature is just a mic relay with a few wires attach to the keyless entry we all know how lame the Toyota sec is i've install that.

Erik, with all due respect, the RS3200 IS the factory alarm system. My 05 has factory keyless but no RS3200 alarm. That's the point I was trying to make.
Now for an added twist. My truck is keyless but does not have the alarm module. It is a 2005 Tundra DC. I tried the programming procedure, and it works! I can turn it on and off at will, and it works every time.

For you fellas having trouble with reprogramming to turn off beep, I highly recommend the duct tape trick mentioned earlier in this thread. One small piece of duct tape and you can only hear the beep if you're right next to your truck and listening for it, plus, no worries 'bout messing anything up. Try it, it works!

for a dc it's different but knowing very well how the rs3200 system works on the access cab it's a modular for the alarm peice to work I have installed it.
