i was wheelin up in the snow again today and i broke my front axle. and it kind broke all the sudden and my front tires just sorta slide and i went into a ditch, yea real fun to get out of when 2wd... anyway just wondering if the dealership will still warrentee my truck even tho its modded...

it would be worth a try, remember that they would have to PROVE the lift caused the breakage. what actually broke? the cv joint, shaft, or the front diff? My money is on the spider gears in the diff. It seems they dont like alot of wheel spin.

well when it broke i heard a thud sound then a clicking sound of my hub spinning so i might have a broken hub too. if they wont warentee it i might look into a better front axle.

well if its spider gears and i roll in there with my stock tires and i can say that i had my stock tires on should that work? i go in tommarrow during my break at school.
And it should give you something to question as well...your integrity. You knew...or should have known the risks when you made the mods. Now something has gone wrong and it sounds like you want someone else to take responsibility for it.
As wylcat said, they have to prove your mod was the cause of the problem so if you go in as is, mods in place and they can't prove it then you're still good and have no reason to feel guilty.
Just my opinion. Hope it all works out for you.

**** yea i had fun breaking it, but toyota looked at my truck today and i just got done talking to them, i broke a cv joint, the ring and pinion, and the cv boot, and leaking fluid all over under my truck. but i got good new and bad news... first the good, they are going to fix it for free, second the bad, im out a truck for a good week if not more.
glad to hear toyota is going to pick up the tab. good joss.
about not having your truck to drive for the mean time, suck it up. you know its worth it.
i just wish more toyota service departments are as good as yours when it comes to issues like such. my dealership wouldnt warrant a NIB 04 supercharger, for my new 04 tundie, because the part number on the box referenced sequioa not tundra. i told them to look at the instrucs that the SC came with, it was the same for any 2004 4.7L motor and it listed that it was the correct SC part for both the sequioa and tundra. they finally agreed to install it, but still wouldnt warrant it.
