Default Can't grease prop shaft on 4X4

Does anyone else have issues getting their grease gun in the u-joints of the prop shaft for the 4wd? I've tried spinning the shaft in every way possible and still no luck. The diameter of the gun's tip is a bit too large to fit between the knuckes of the u-joint. I have two grease guns and both have the same diameter tips. Luckily, I rarely use 4wd so it isn't a huge issue, but I would like to get some fresh grease in there due to the salt and other **** we have up in MN. Is there a narrow tip you can put on a grease gun? I've pumped litterally hundreds of gallons of grease in my day (farm boy) and never have had this much of an issue before.

Taper the end of the grease fitting on a grinder until it fits, I got this advice from my Toyota Tech.

A pencil tip applicator tip on your GG will do the trick
