Default just finished debadging 3/4 of my DC

Had to stop because its freezing outside. The only badge left on the truck is the Toyota Tundra one on the drivers side door. But anyways, I have a few questions about removing the adhesive. I've searched on here and found a couple things but I would like to know what house hold products besides WD-40 work? It is only the residue left on the surface. Not too much left.

I just finished debadging my 04 DC........Goof Off works great, along with Bug & Tar remover, can't remember the brand name off hand. Be sure to get a good rubbing compound to get rid of any scratches/marks from the removal, then coat with wax, she'll look pretty then, make sure to post some pics!!

Can't seem to find that goof off stuff in my neighborhood. Is the Bug & Tar remover you're talking about Meguiar's?

Goof off does work great, it's basically lighter fluid. Do thoroughly clean it off though. Wash, rub, wax all done.

Goo-gone, a decent adhesive remover and lemon juice will help get rid of the residue.

To clean it all up, first wash, then polish, buff out any scratches, wash, clay, wash then wax with good decent wax.

The bug and tar remover I have is from Turtle Wax, comes in a can, kind of old-timey looking.........looks like a can of brake fluid.

A mix of each, as needed. The lemon juice I used to break down the adhesive while running the fishing line through it. Afterwards I used the Goo-gone and an adhesive remover to remove any residue.

"Goof Off" can be found in any Home Depot store (paint dept). I've seen a couple of different brands of Bug & Tar Remover. Got them at auto centers and WalMart.

I got "Duck Tape" Adhesive remover (Walmart0. Let it sit for a little bit... Fishing line wrapped around two screwdrivers... just cut through the adhesive. Then polished off the rest of the adhesive with more remover.

Well, try brake cleaner! Great stuff! It will remove anything, like pine pitch, adhesive, bugs.... just be careful with it. Do a good clean up, buff wax. I detailed cars for years and it works good, and if you happen to have a hornets nest in your door jam, it kills those suckers pretty quick too!

Use at you own risk, you can damage your paint!

So the side badges come off too? No holes in the body there either?
