Question Front brake rotor replacement

I am trying to replace my OEM front brake rotors with a set of Brembo
replacement rotors. I removed the brake caliper and caliper mounting
bracket but when I tried to remove the rotor, it won't budge.

The instructions that came with the Brembos simply says to remove the
rotor, no elaboration like use a two arm gear puller or a large mallet
or even a plasma torch to cut the "you know what" off.

My Tundra is two wheel drive and has had the brake TSB if that
changes anything. Does anybody out there have any advise on
how best to proceed? All input would be appreciated.

bang the hat of the rotor with a mallet. it's just rusted on... if you're throwing out the old rotors, you can whack the crap out of them anywhere...

Thanks for the info Jasbus. I will whack the crap out of it - might
even be therapeutic.

Jasbus is right--they just pop off--sometimes. Put some penetrating oil on the center and let it set overnight. Then start pecking from the inside turning the rotor so you hit it around the full circumfrance of the rotor. IT WILL COME OFF!!!!

I picked up a two pound dead blow mallet from Sears,
It's a pretty serious hammer. I also put quite a bit
of penetrating oil around the rotor/hub interface last
weekend with the truck parked unused in the garage
ever since. I'm expecting big things this weekend when
I make my next attempt - thanks for the help.
