Default Re: Should I have gotten some touch up paint with my new truck?

Yeah, I asked for a bottle for mine when I bought it (used). Whoever did the detail on my '96 tacoma before I got it did an extremely good job, and whoever did it on my tundra did a so-so job. They did a good job buffing, but no touch-ups were done... and the interior job was pretty crappy, they just basically dusted & vacuumed... I found a cap from a beer bottle under the seat after I got home.
I know some people hate 'em, but I have found that the oem hood protector prevents an awful lot of chips. I don't think I've gotten one on the hood since I installed it, and I think there may be 2 or 3 chips on leading edge of the roof since then.
