I've had my '05 Tundra for a little over a year and so far I've put a 40 series flowmaster muffler (single) with dual exhaust, bedrug bedliner, extang rt rollup bed cover, tinted front windows, 16' polished alluminum wheels (Raceline Renegades 886), Yokahoma A/T tires (just went up to a 255 so I wouldn't have to mess with my torsion bar), and am thinking about putting a westin bull-bar on. Just getting ideas from fellow Tundra owners on what else I could possibly do.
If you notice on most full size trucks the front end is a little lower than the back end so therefore if you go up in the size of your tire it may have enough clearance in the back, but not the front. To gain that extra clearnce you have a torsion bar in the front that you can raise to give your tires enough clearance. I've been told its quite simple to do and fairly inexpensive, but i didn't feel like messing with it.......

Very true for some trucks like the older Toyota pickups. BUT our Tundras run a strut setup so there are no torsions to turn up

True. I went from a 245/70 Dunlop to a 265/75 BFG tire. Mine came stock with 245's cuz its a V6. Clearance should not be a problem. I did a 2.5" spacer lift cuz my wheels have a 3 5/8 backspace and rubbed without it.
