Default 15% off insurance with an alarm system,,opinions from Houston area for install

My insurance has stated to me that they will give me an added 15% off my auto insurance if, I have a passive alarm system for my Tundra. My Tundra only has the wireless door and panic remote function. (our 4runner has a factory installed passive security system) My question is this: what passive alarm system do any of you suggest and NOT suggest? Second question: Where would a person get this installed in the Houston area that you would recommend?

Did you guys and gals know this? If you take defensive drivers education once every 3 years, most insurance companies will give you a 5% or better discount on your premium? IF I had known this years ago, I would have jumped on this every 3 years. If you do this in the Houston area, one only has to pay 20 bucks (for insurance, NOT tickets) for doing this. I save a total of 240 dollars for the wife and I (3 year period).

Thank you for your responses in advance.

An '05 Access Cab has a RS3200 based system which should be able to be converted from keyless entry to full alarm for nothing. See http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forum...s3000-upgrade/

No - The '04 - '06 DC uses a body ecu based system and not the RS3200 system used in the Access Cab. As far as I know if you do not have the factory theft deterrent system, the body ecu is different (different p/n) then the body ecu in vehicles with the factory theft deterrent system. There is no upgraded from keyless to theft deterrent system after the vehicle is built - except aftermarket alarm install.
