1Gen-TundraGeneral discussion forum for the 2000 to 2006 Toyota Tundra.
This is a discussion thread titled "Auto close moonroof", within the 1Gen-Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
I don't know about when you shut the car off, but you could wire in a DEI 529T wiindow module and hook the close side to the door lock trigger off your keyless entry. That way when you lock the doos the sunroof closes.

i'm interested in the opposite mod. anybody have a work around for getting the sunroof to stay open when the key is turned off? mine closes automatically when the ignition is off and i would like it to stay open. not sure if it's factory or aftermarket, but suspect it was a dealer option. i kind of like the idea of getting it to close when the doors are locked, too. that way, i can leave it open on hot days when there isn't any rain coming, but if i lock the doors, it will close and keep the truck locked up.
