Default 2006 v8 auto hard 1-2 shift?

Is it just me, or do all your 2006 AC's (V* w/5dp auto) shift from 1st -2nd harshly at low throttle settings? I only have about 500 miles on mine, but theis trans seems to shift noticeably harsher than the old T100 auto I was used to. Havent used more throttle, I am still "babying" it while it gets more broken in.

I have th V^ so I don't have that problem. Before my V^ I had an I-$ Tacoma that didn't have that problem either.

haha...I saw this title and thought "oops, someone's finger is stuck on the shift key."

Back on topic:
Does this happen when the engine is cold? I've noticed that transmissions have a tendency to shift hard when the engine/transmission is still cold. After warm up and a few miles, it smoothes out.

I have an 06 AC V8 5 spd auto. So far it has about 700 miles on it. I have noticed that it shifts a bit hard on the 1-2, but mostly when the engine is cold.
